Chop Saws

Chop saws are designed much in the same way as circular saws, a circular blade with a series of sharp teeth rotating around an arbour for quick and efficient cuts. The key difference, however, is that chop saws come supplied with a base plate to ensure millimetre-precise straight cuts.

They are suitable for cutting most MDF, plywood and other similar materials. An important tool when building furniture, fences and other carpentry applications. Because of the heavy-duty nature of chop saws, many in our range also feature a number of key safety features including an electronic soft start. This limits the stress of the components and helps ensure smooth and controlled operation.

Despite being stationary cutting tools, these tools are also very portable. Some of which have been designed with a transport locking mode for this exact reason, ensuring they can both be easily transported and yet are still highly stable when in use.
