MDF

Smooth, consistent and easy to work with, MDF (medium density fibreboard) is the perfect sheet material for any beginner DIYer. It manufactured using a blend of broken-down wood residuals which are mixed with a wax and resin binder. 

There are a range of sizes and thicknesses to choose from, accommodating a multitude of home and professional construction projects including furniture, cabinets, shelving, flooring, doors, framing as well as decorative applications too. Standard MDF is typically recommended for internal use only, however there are specialist waterproof MDF boards which are suitable for external conditions too.
