Shower Traps

Shower wastes/traps are designed to remove waste water from your shower to the drainage system. If dirty water is unable to drain effectively, it can form as a pool across the shower tray, leading to leakages and damage to your shower.  

The shallow tube is fitted beneath the shower tray in a watertight area to prevent sewer waste smells from emitting into the room. Wastes are typically unscrewable so that excess waste material such as clogged hairs can be removed to prevent blockages.  

There are a variety of different shower waste styles, sizes and finishes available. The flow rate will vary from waste to waste so consider the strength of your shower system when deciphering the flow rate required for effective drainage.
