Traditional Towel Radiators

Originally the most common towel radiator, also known as a heated towel rail or towel rail radiator. You will likely recognise the familiar designs of these radiators, as they resemble more traditional radiators with extensions and additions to better accommodate your towels.

Traditional towel radiators are ideal for bathrooms of all shapes and sizes, but are particularly useful in more humid bathrooms, especially those that include both a bath and a shower, or bathrooms that have little ventilation and thus steam up quickly.

Towel radiators can vary in style and size, but are nearly always designed for modern bathrooms, with sleek metallic steel appearances. While both are towel radiators, these traditional models should not be confused with ladder towel radiators due to the distinct sizes differences between these two models.

As with standard ladder radiators, these ladder towel radiators are much taller and thinner, while the traditional model takes on a standard set of dimensions that make it more versatile when it comes to placement within your bathroom.

Like other radiators – specifically those that connect to water pipes, traditional towel radiators are not particularly easy to install, and while plenty of tutorials exist online, we recommend consulting a professional for assistance if you are not an expert or an experienced DIY enthusiast.

Once installed however, your towel radiator will provide with many years of service, and you’ll wonder how you ever got out of the shower without one.
