Spades

Unlike shovels, which are primarily used for moving around aggregate and other soil, spades feature narrower, sharper blades for digging holes and cutting out weeds. To best suit these types of jobs you’ll find our range of spades to partially hardwearing with stainless steel construction better able to resist the wear and tear and external use.

The flatter blades of garden spades make moving through dirt and soil much easier, but it is the high-quality constructions that make the digging so effortless. This includes durable ferrules and comfortable handles with a range of configurations, including YD and D grips.

To keep your spade in the best possible condition, we recommend cleaning it after every use and keeping it stored somewhere dry – ideally in a shed or garage. This will help prevent rust which will blunt the blade and make digging far less efficient.
