Want a door for your room or corridor but don’t want to lose out on the flow of natural or artificial light between spaces? A glazed door is just what you need to get the best of both worlds. Allowing spaces to feel bigger and brighter, they are cost-effective, visually appealing and can be very durable if properly maintained.

The amount of glass you find in these glazed doors differs between designs, with some models sporting almost entirely glass faces, while others make use of smaller panes that are designed for practicality over impressiveness. The size and number of panes are sure to directly influence the amount of light that comes into the room, so keep this in mind when deciding on the design you want to purchase. Smaller panes offer more privacy in a room, as do ‘frosted’ panes, which obscure the view inside a room without sacrificing the flow of light.

Where to Use Internal Glazed Doors?

Internal doors with glass a great for both periodic properties and more modernised apartments and new builds thanks to the sheer variety of styles and appearances on the market. White internal glazed doors are very popular, as are those that display a natural oak finish (as mentioned above). Some sport pre-finishes, while others have no finish at all, allowing you to take more creative control over the final appearance of your glazed door.

Just about all of the door models in this list have a glazed alternative, from bifold doors to standard oak internal doors. Glazed fire doors are less common, as the panes need to be of a certain thickness. However, several models do exist, albeit for a higher price than standard glazed doors or solid fire doors.
